Key Factors

Favors Over

A passing game script is implied by the Raiders being a -5-point underdog in this week's game.
The leading projections forecast the Raiders as the 3rd-most pass-centric team on the slate this week with a 62.4% pass rate, based on their underlying traits and matchup dynamics.
With respect to a defense's influence on pace, the Raiders defense has allowed opposing teams to play 10th-fastest in the league (adjusted for context) this year at 27.93 seconds per snap.
The passing offenses of both teams (as it relates to both volume and efficiency) stand to benefit from the calm "weather" conditions (i.e. zero wind) inside this dome, while ground volume may drop-off.
The Bills defense has been a well-known pass funnel this year, compelling opposing teams to attempt the 3rd-most passes in the league (42.0 per game) this year.

Favors Under

When talking about protecting the passer (and the ramifications it has on all passing offense metrics), the O-line of the Raiders ranks as the 3rd-worst in football this year.
When it comes to defensive tackles getting after the quarterback, Buffalo's group of DTs has been fantastic this year, profiling as the 2nd-best in the league.
