Key Factors

Favors Over

The Cardinals are a 4-point underdog in this week's game, likely leading to a passing game script.
Accounting for their underlying play style and matchup dynamics, the leading projections forecast the Cardinals to pass on 62.5% of their plays: the 3rd-highest frequency among all teams this week.
The Cardinals have run the 4th-most plays in the league since the start of last season, totaling a staggering 60.0 plays per game.
The pass attacks of both teams (as it relates to both volume and effectiveness) figure to benefit from the calm "weather" conditions (read: no wind) inside this dome, while run volume may decline.
Opposing quarterbacks have averaged 36.1 pass attempts per game against the Seahawks defense since the start of last season: 3rd-most in football.

Favors Under

Our trusted projections expect the Cardinals to call the 5th-fewest total plays on the slate this week with 61.6 plays, based on their underlying tendencies and game dynamics.
The Arizona Cardinals O-line ranks as the 4th-worst in the league since the start of last season in protecting the passer, which has a harmful effect on all passing game stats across the board.
The Seahawks pass defense has yielded the 3rd-lowest Adjusted Completion% in football (60%) vs. WRs since the start of last season (60.0%).
The Seahawks safeties grade out as the 5th-worst collection of safeties in the NFL last year in defending pass-catchers.
