Key Factors

Favors Over

Malcolm Brogdon has successfully made 40.4% of his attempts from downtown at home since the start of last season, ranking in the 94th percentile among all players in the league.
With respect to shot attempts from downtown, the 10th-most aggressive team in the NBA since the start of last season has been the Portland Trail Blazers.
The matchup vs. the Grizzlies is a favorable one for 3-pointers; the opposition's starting PGs have averaged the 30th-most shots from behind the three-point arc per game in the NBA since the start of last season (2.5).
The Trail Blazers will likely see a rise in plays in this contest from sharing the court with the 4th-fastest pace-of-play offense in the league this year (the Grizzlies).
Malcolm Brogdon stands to see an increase in efficiency across the board considering owning the home court advantage in this matchup.

Favors Under

The 8th-most sluggish tempo home team in the NBA this year has been the Portland Trail Blazers.
The Portland Trail Blazers have been the 9th-worst offensive rebounding offense in the league since the start of last season (offensive rebounds maintain possession, and a lack of them may therefore reduce additional chances for scoring and assists).
While playing away from home, the Grizzlies have allowed the 7th-most offensive boards per game (10.9) in the NBA to opposing squads since the start of last season (offensive rebounds maintain possession and can therefore produce added opportunities for scoring and assists).
