Key Factors

Favors Over

The matchup against Dallas is a positive one for three-point shots; when the Mavericks are playing at home, the opposition's starting SGs have averaged the 3rd-most shots from downtown per game in the NBA this year (2.8).
The Dallas Mavericks have played at the 4th-fastest pace-of-play in the league over the last 5 games, which should lead to more plays for the New Orleans Pelicans.
Offensive rebounds continue possession and create bonus chances for scoring and assists, and the New Orleans Pelicans grade out 6th-best in in the NBA with 12.2 offensive rebounds per game since the start of last season.

Favors Under

When it comes to shooting, the New Orleans Pelicans's unimpressive 104.8 points per game places weakest in the league over the last 5 games.
The New Orleans Pelicans have played at the 2nd-least up-tempo tempo in the league over the last 5 games.
The matchup against the Mavericks may be a tough one for getting to the foul line; the other team's starting SGs have attempted a measly 1.8 foul shots per game over the last 10 games (6th-least in the NBA).
