Key Factors

Favors Over

In contrast to last season's 24.6 mark, Donovan Mitchell's points per game have jumped this season to 30.5.
The matchup vs. the Charlotte Hornets is a positive one for 3-pointers; the opposition's starting SGs have averaged the 3rd-most treys per game in the league this year (2.5).
The Cavaliers have played at the 6th-quickest pace in the league over the last 25 games.
Offensive rebounds retain possession and generate additional opportunities for scoring and assists, and the Cavaliers grade out best in in the NBA with 15.4 offensive boards per game over the last 5 games.
Over the last 5 games, the other team's starting SGs have attempted 4.0 free throws per game (4th-most in the league) against the Charlotte Hornets, succeeding in their efforts to get to the foul line.

Favors Under

In terms of three-point shots, the Cavaliers's feeble 32.6% rate of drained threes rates fewest in the NBA over the last 15 games.
The Cleveland Cavaliers will likely see a decline in plays in this game from facing the 6th-slowest pace-of-play offense in the league over the last 20 games (the Charlotte Hornets).
