Key Factors

Favors Over

Donovan Mitchell has sunk 39.6% of his shots from downtown this year, ranking him in the 77th percentile among all players in the league.
Donovan Mitchell has attempted 11.4 3-pointers per game over the last 5 games on the road, 1.3 more than he's attempted over the course of the season on the road.
Donovan Mitchell has tallied 31.5 minutes per game this year, ranking among the most used players in the league: 78th percentile.
When it comes to treys, the Cavaliers's fantastic 40.8% rate of converted threes settles in as the most in the NBA this year.
The Cleveland Cavaliers will likely see a rise in opportunities in this contest from competing against the speediest pace-of-play team in the NBA over the last 15 games (the Hawks).

Favors Under

The matchup against the Atlanta Hawks is a tough one for shot attempts from downtown; the other team's starting SGs have totaled the 6th-least 3-point attempts per game in the league over the last 10 games (4.6).
The Cleveland Cavaliers have played at the 10th-least up-tempo pace-of-play in the NBA over the last 5 games as the visting team.
The Cleveland Cavaliers rank as the 5th-worst offensive rebounding offense in the league this year (offensive rebounds maintain possession, and a lack of them can therefore reduce extra chances for scoring and assists).
Donovan Mitchell will not enjoy the benefit of the home court advantage in this matchup. Playing on the road usually decreases player production in all facets of the game.
